FAPF01/FAPF02 3M Filtrete Aftermarket Replacement Filter (9 x 15 1/4 x 1) Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This product is about the same as a CHEAP furnace filter that you could purchase from Home Depot or Lowes for much less.If you're like me you purchased your Filtrete Air Purifier for almost HEPA properties.Make sure that when you order, you order Genuine 3M replacement and not "Aftermarket"...if you do order this aftermarket product, you will not be satisfied as it only has maybe 25% to 30% of the filter media as the 3M.

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)There may be better commercialized air filters, but of course they come with a price. Since my 7 yr old son has asthma, I wanted to be meticulous at choosing the air filter.

When I came across this product at the acehardware website, I was surprised by the decent reviews.
[...]
I am now using this at home and am totally pleased with it. It is currently fall and it usually is the time when his asthma flares up. 2 months and counting since I had used this product and no asthma! Thank God... and this air filter!

3M #9808 15x24 Filtrete Air Conditioner Filter Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I knew the screen filter on my window unit was not adequate filteration for dust, etc so I decided to give Filtrete Room Filter a try.It works great! I've noticed a difference in the dust in the house. (No central air.) It has been three weeks and the filter looks pretty gross so I guess I'll be changing it fairly frequent. Also, I was able to cut one filter to fit two units: 5K BTU + 12K BTU.
