Honeywell 19002 Universal Air Cleaner Prefilter (set of 2) Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)A sneezy friend of mine got a HEPA air filter for his bedroom and said bullishly, "It changed my life!" So I bought a Honeywell HEPA air filter for my sneezy wife (along with allergy dust covers for pillows, mattesses, etc).

In the big picture I don't think any lives were changed, but this is certainly a resaonably well made and cost effective HEPA air filter, suitable for getting all kinds of small particulate airborne gunk out of your airsteam. We were both relieved to find that my sneezy wife was not allergic to her new husband, but only to his futon. But that's another story.

If you or one you love is sneezy at night, an air filter like this might just make you all really happy. And the filter makes a pleasant swooshing sound that may in time come to remind you of wind or waves. Turn it on high 20 min before bedtime and then switch it to low when you actually hit the sack. Low is much quieter.

Sweet dreams...

Filmtec Membranes TW30-1812-50 Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)The little white capillary flow resistor, which needs to match and be replaced same time with the ro membrane filter wasn't included w/ the membrane filter. I had to buy one, which increased the price of the membrane. The whirlpool membrane includes the capillary flow resistor. So, I'll probably stick with the Whirlpool brand at Lowe's.

FAPF01/FAPF02 3M Filtrete Aftermarket Replacement Filter (9 x 15 1/4 x 1) Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This product is about the same as a CHEAP furnace filter that you could purchase from Home Depot or Lowes for much less.If you're like me you purchased your Filtrete Air Purifier for almost HEPA properties.Make sure that when you order, you order Genuine 3M replacement and not "Aftermarket"...if you do order this aftermarket product, you will not be satisfied as it only has maybe 25% to 30% of the filter media as the 3M.

HAPF-22 Holmes HEPA Aftermarket Replacement Filter Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I have had a little Holmes air cleaner in the back room with the litter box for years, but this year Target no longer stocked the filter, nor did any of the other local stores I checked out. I found it here at the best price and it was delivered rapidly and fit perfectly. I can use that room again. Silly how little furry things can make such an unpleasant atmosphere!I did not want to purchase another blower box just because the filters were no longer easily available, but ordering through Amazon is easy enough and I have not had any problems.

Holmes Replacement Wick Filter Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I was expecting the packaging to be branded Holmes but it wasn't. Compared to what I consider the original version of the filter, what we got wasn't of like quality. I would say it was lower quality. We're also going through them quicker than the originals. Just over a week for each filter and that's after running it 12-15 hours per day.

We couldn't find these filters anywhere else, Target, BBB, RiteAid, Walgreen's, none of them had it. I guess Holmes or whomever doesn't manufacture them anymore.
