Window Guard (large) Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)The amount of crud that was coming in to the house through my Windows was alarming. This was the first solution I tried. It does work well as a filter. The dirt does not come in.The down side is that the airflow is severly reduced. There is still some exchange of air but it is not very much.

I have larger windows and the largest of these is not sufficient.I split it into 2 parts and stacked them to get more coverage. My second trial solution, on a different window screen, was AllerTech? Vent Guard (16" X 60"), which is a roll of poly about 1/4" thick that I decided you can hand sew to the screen.Yep, I used just a needle and thread with simple stitches, in about 2 minutes. This second solution allows much more airflow and seems to filter all the solid matter. The AllerTech is in the dirtier airflow window and now it seems nothing comes in but the breeze.

(More customer reviews)The item itself works well as I have ordered it before. My complaint is that it came crushed in the package due to bad packaging by the vendor requiring us to patch it up before using.

Generic Honeywell Furnace Air Filter HWP20204 FC100A1011 FC200E1011-- 5 Pack (5 Filters) - Merv 11 Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)We ordered MERV 11 filters (as your records indicate) and recieved MERV 8 filters which do not filter as effectively and thus are a poorer quality.Rather than go through the hassle of returning these for the correct filters, we are keeping them.We are disappointed and will questioning ordering them again.

(More customer reviews)You'd think it would be easy, but finding one of these babies that fits like it's supposed to and doesn't cost $100 is a chore. Saw this 2 pack on Amazon, ordered it, and they fit PERFECT. They are Carrier brand, and a 2 pack for $50 is a downright steal. Thanks Filter NOW!

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)received these filters with a crushed box and a hole in one filter and the second filter was crushed too. They should pack it better, it had nothing to protect the filters, just filters in a cheap box.
