HAPF-22 Holmes HEPA Aftermarket Replacement Filter Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I have had a little Holmes air cleaner in the back room with the litter box for years, but this year Target no longer stocked the filter, nor did any of the other local stores I checked out. I found it here at the best price and it was delivered rapidly and fit perfectly. I can use that room again. Silly how little furry things can make such an unpleasant atmosphere!I did not want to purchase another blower box just because the filters were no longer easily available, but ordering through Amazon is easy enough and I have not had any problems.

Original HAPF-22 Holmes HEPA Air Cleaner Replacement Filter Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)A good quality Hepa filter and the price was right. Shipping and handling charges were, however, excessive! I would not purchase from this vendor again because of the "fake" low price. $8 for shipping two small, light weight filters is far too much IMO.

Febreze 04291 True Air Replacement Filter for Tobacco Odors Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I am thoroughly pleased with this product but would never buy small products such as these from Amazon again.

The reason is your shipping costs which are outragious. The shipping costs more than the product itself and here I can go to Drugstore.com where it is free shipping and the item is less also.

I do buy books periodically from this site and do not remember such a high shipping cost. You can well be assured I will find out before I buy.

Satisfied but yet unsatisfied customer.

Hamilton Beach 04269 True Air Plug Mount Odor Eliminator Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)The 04211 I can hear over the microwave. This one (04269) I can't. It's still not as quiet as the Febreze model Odor Eliminator, but the 04269 does a champion job of reducing odor. If you buy from DollarRite with Amazon fulfillment, you'll get the pet filter included, which is thicker than the basic carbon filter. Also, the sheer circumference of the ventilated portion of the 04269 is bigger than the Febreze model (keep in mind, however, the unit itself is also a little bigger, if space is at a premium).

I still prefer the Febreze model Odor Eliminator for its quiet fan, but this model runs a close second.

Hamilton Beach 04912 TrueAir HEPA Replacement Filter for 04160 & 04161 Air Cleaners Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I reviewed several air purifiers before purchasing the Hamilton Beach 04160 with UV light unit. With all the misleading information on HEPA fitlers, ionic and electrostatic units on the market it can be hard to find exactly what you need. My son has asthma and we all have air borne allergies.Since installation of the unit, in the family room and bed room, the level of dust has decreased and my son has not had an asthmatic attack either. All air purifiers make noise. I give the level of noise a #2 with #1 being very quite. For the price of the unit, price of replacement parts and the quality of performance Hamilton Beach is the one I selected.

Hamilton Beach 04923 TrueAir Replacement Carbon Filters for 04162, 04163 & 04152 Air Cleaners, 3-Pack Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Ordinarily I would not be particularly excited about odor-removing filters. However, I was surprised after installing my first replacement set of odor filters that my purifier (model 04163) ran much quieter at the lowest speed setting.I'm not entirely sure of the added electrical cost of running these filters (I have pet birds that generate a lot of dust and dander and the filters run 24/7), but it may be that the reduced fan speed to get the same air discharge will save me money.Nice!

Hamilton Beach True Air 05920 Blue Humidifier Filter Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)First - the reviewers that recount experiences of bad smells from their filters need to undrstand that wick humidifiers, like the HB 05920 and 05921, require that an anti-bacterial solution be added to the water tank when filling. This solution, I use "Golden Solution" (try Google), prevents mold and algae from forming on the filter and in the tank. This prevents the odors and gets you a couple months out of your filter if you run your unit 24/7 like me.

Second - there are other replacement filters on the market that are the same size as the HB True Air replacement filter and cost half as much.

I use two HB True Air humidifiers and usually stock up on 4 filters each for the 6 months they run continously in my loft.I have a couple True Air filters and a couple Best Air filtersright now and cannot tell the difference between them when it comes to performance. The name brand True Air's keep their shape better, but for nine bucks, I'm not worried about the asthetics of the inside of my humidifier.

Hope this helps those who use these filters.
