Hamilton Beach 04716 TrueAir Allergen Reducing Filter Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I ordered this filter because it showed the TrueAir logo printed right on the filter. I know all filters are not the same and I wanted to make sure I was getting the original that came with the purifier, because it works great.I was very disappointed when it arrived. The filter is a very cheap one made with wire and I am sure it won't work as well. They should not show the logo if it is not the real thing.

Amaircare 3000 Portable HEPA Air Cleaner Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I've been a user of this unit for just about 10 years now.Could not be happier with it.It has never let me down, has never stopped working, and I use it every day.I've only had to replace the HEPA filter twice - which is relatively rare given how long I run this thing and how long I've had it.

The only units that might be better than this are the $900-range ones, so for the price you won't find better.I'll buy this again all day long if I had to.Given how long this has lasted me, my total costs of ownership on this keep lowering every year it continues to run.It just doesn't die!

A real test was recently I had moved and while living temporarily in furnished housing, I did not unpack my Americare 3000 since I knew I was in transition and would be in a new residence soon.I had miserable allergies and my nose was stuffed-up every night.I went to the storage unit to retrieve it, and the next day (after letting it run all night), I was instantly feeling better.I even slept better the following night, nose was not congested, no allergies.

Best $500 investment I've ever made, bar-none.

Vicks V9075 Air Purifier True Hepa Kaz Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)We had been shopping around a while for a purifier, they were either too big or too expensive. This one, although it's small has been working very good for us and the price is not too high either. Our daughter was born prematurely, and hospital atmosphere is so clean and sterile, I was afraid she would come down with something when she got home.We decided to set the crib and the purifier up in our room for a while until she gets strong enough to sleep alone and we can really feel a difference in the air. It is compact taking up little space and blends nicely, its not an ugly looking clump. We will be buying another one for our other daughters room.

Triton PRA001 Powered Respirator Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)As an avid woodworker who is very safety conscious and wears glasses, I find this product invaluable.Prior to owning the powered Respirator I had to wear separate, hearing protectors and respirator. For safety glasses I had to depend on my prescription glasses. If I tired to use safety goggles or a full face shield I was soon unable to see because of fogging. With the Triton powered respirator, all of the safety products are built in to one easy to put on unit.I'm fully protected and the supply of air over the face shield prevents any fogging. The battery pack lasts me for several days of woodworking since I only turn it on while operating equipment.Between operations, I shut off the air supply and raise the face shield which stays securely in place. The minor draw backs that I've found is that the pre-filter on the bottom of the battery pack becomes dirty rather quickly which does reduce the air flow.Simply vacuuming the collected dust off the filter returns full air flow. The weight of the helmet unit does cause me some neck fatigue, but I do have a neck injury and this may not be an issue for other users. The unit is somewhat expensive, but for the safety and convenience that it provides I find the cost worth while.

Product Description:
Ideal for all woodworking jobs, including sawing, routing, shaping, sanding, and wood-turning, the Triton-powered respirator is very effective in filtering airborne dust. In addition to woodworking, the Triton powered respirator is perfect for chainsaw work, grinding, working with metal or stone, sanding body filler or plaster, and preparing weather boards for paint. For personal protection at home or the workplace, the respirator combines a lightweight hard hat, a full face, hinged visor and eye protection, integral high-quality earmuffs for hearing protection (which click out when not needed) and a lightweight adjustable shroud. The approved hard hat adjusts to suit common head sizes. A continuous wash of clean, filtered air is generated by a waist-mounted, rechargeable power pack. The Ni-Cad batteries provide up to four hours of continuous operation. Air flows down inside of the visor and across the face, eliminating any potential for fogging while keeping your face feeling fresh.

Hamilton Beach 04269 True Air Plug Mount Odor Eliminator Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)The 04211 I can hear over the microwave. This one (04269) I can't. It's still not as quiet as the Febreze model Odor Eliminator, but the 04269 does a champion job of reducing odor. If you buy from DollarRite with Amazon fulfillment, you'll get the pet filter included, which is thicker than the basic carbon filter. Also, the sheer circumference of the ventilated portion of the 04269 is bigger than the Febreze model (keep in mind, however, the unit itself is also a little bigger, if space is at a premium).

I still prefer the Febreze model Odor Eliminator for its quiet fan, but this model runs a close second.
