Honeywell17200 Envirocare QuietCare HEPA Air Cleaner, White Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Having purchased similar items in the past, I thought that I knew exactly what I wanted. When I found the item on Amazon, I was quite happy until it showed up at our door. I took it out of the box only to find out that the unit had a 220V, 2-pin rounded (European) plug.Nowhere in the online ads could I find this detail. I just looked again and still cannot find this in their ads. When I complained to Amazon and ANTonline (the suplier) about the problem, all they could offer was for me to send the unit back. That's not a easy deal with a big, bulky item like this.I ended up purchasing a 220 "step-up" converter for about another $20 with shipping and now it works fine.I wish that I had known about this plug and voltage issue before making the purchase.I might add that this is one of the few times that I've been disappointed with a purchase from Amazon.

14ALL/83125 Sears/Kenmore Air Cleaner Replacement Filter Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I had previously written "Filter came wrong size, (oversized). however since the material is simple filter material it could be cut down to size. This was a while ago, but from what I remember, this was exactly the filter the website indicated to order."The company since emailed me and informed me that this was a 'one-size-fits-all' type of filter.Nowhere in the website or when I recieved the filter was this explained.I'm glad they let me know this, however I would have liked to know this ahead of time so that I wouldn't have had bad feelings or spent time researching if I had ordered the wrong filter. A little information goes a long way!

HAPF96 Holmes Carbon Air Cleaner Replacement Pre-Filter (2 Pack) Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I purchased this as a 'project item' meaning to customize it for my own uses. It arrived exactly as described, and faster than I expected. It is a semi-coarse, self supporting filter media embedded with carbon. It cuts easily with boning shears to fit some obsolete or custom blower units. I use it as a secondary filter after a large particle filter and before a HEPA style filter for a continually dusty area. I feel it works well for my situation.

Holmes HAPF60 4-pack Air Purifier Carbon Replacement Filter Enhanced with Arm Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)These are good quality and reasonably priced. They do a good job removing particulate matter from the air when used with my Holmes air purifier. They are necessary to use upstream of a HEPA filter to keep the HEPA from becoming clogged.
