(More customer reviews)These worked fine although I must say it's hard to ship these without some small bending, crushing of the filters.I think I will buy locally again.

Product Description:
The Endust Merv 8 furnace and air conditioner filter works 20 times better than ordinary fiberglass disposable filters. This high efficiency filter is ideal for dust and pollen filtration. Because of their design, these pleated filters capture significantly more particles than fiberglass filters. These filters also carry a numbered rating called a MERV. MERV is the Minimum Efficiency Reporting Value as established by the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE). This rating system measures a filter's ability to remove particles between 3 and 10 microns. A higher MERV value means higher efficiency. Changing your furnace filter regularly will help your HVAC system run more efficiently and improve the air quality in your home. We recommend changing your furnace filter every 3 months under normal conditions and more frequently in homes in dusty areas or with pets or smokers. No matter which filter you choose, it's important to remember to check and change your filter often. A dirty filter can affect the air quality in your home, reduce the efficiency of your HVAC system and potentially cause costly service calls.
