The Endust Merv 8 furnace and air conditioner filter works 20 times better than ordinary fiberglass disposable filters. This high efficiency filter is ideal for dust and pollen filtration. Because of their design, these pleated filters capture significantly more particles than fiberglass filters. These filters also carry a numbered rating called a MERV. MERV is the Minimum Efficiency Reporting Value as established by the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE). This rating system measures a filter's ability to remove particles between 3 and 10 microns. A higher MERV value means higher efficiency. Changing your furnace filter regularly will help your HVAC system run more efficiently and improve the air quality in your home.
